ONE OF THOSE DAYS...

Hi ladies, I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter, for me there was lots of chocolate, lots of hot cross buns and lots and lots of laziness...

I've got a list that goes for miles of things that I should have already done but I just can't bring myself to start anything I need some inspiration I just don't know where to start... I want to paint my living room and kitchen walls... I think I'm not sure I luv my blue and I'm a bit worried I won't like the colour. I've chosen 'Dulux clotted cream' I think it will make the rooms look bigger... I think... I'm not sure...

I think I'm also going through a mid life crisis I suddenly want to paint everything and rip the carpet up and polish the floorboards I want a new bathroom and a new kitchen. I want to knock down walls and make the living areas bigger; all sounds great doesn't it only problem is that I'm renting and need to get permission from my landlord to do anything, not to mention the money I would need Danny already whinges everytime I do something and reminds me that 'its not my house'...

I need to win lotto or something I want my own house, I want, I want, I want... OK OK I know, I shouldn't really complain I have been lucky in the renting world I have been in this house for 10 years and before we moved in here we were in our previous rental property for 10 years as well and our landlord pretty much lets me do whatever I want... I'm just having one of those days...

Anyway as per usual I have been naughty and I've got a couple of new goodies to show you all...

My new Gail print 'I'm out of walls'...

My other Gail print I squeezed this one in...

My new little foot stool isn't it sooooo sweet and just what I needed...

And last but not least my new little vintage cake tin, what can I say I just had to have this one...

Anyway I was blogging away tonight when I noticed that everyone else has things on their blog that they are selling and I only have things that I have brought...

mmmmm maybe thats why I don't have enough money to buy a house...

No Sharon you are buying because you go to work at a normal job and don't have time to sell! You sound like how I feel at the moment, so many things you want to do and just not enough time to concentrate on any one thing, then you get utterly confused....oh I think we need to slow down. I must say the clotted cream is a favourite colour of mine, either that or a USA white which is also great...gee I'm confusing further here.

Hi Sharon, i got the painting (inside) idea over Easter but all i did was procrastinate! Our house was painted in clotted cream before we re-did it and now just the trims are that colour. its quite lovely. Inside we have antique white usa and in our old house had chalk usa which i think i liked better, Hope this helps!

Hi, Sharon,
Thanks for your visit once again. Just wanting to check which state you live in as I couldn't find anywhere that mentions it in your blog and I don't remember if I read it or if you mentioned it in one of the posts. In order to answer the rose question you asked me I'll need to first know what state you live in. I find rose varieties that suit Victoria might not suit us here. So that means I might need to look up in books what is good for your region, can't speak from experience.

Ok, if you're thinking of climbing roses to cover the wall, then Lamarque for white flowers, Pinky for pink flowers or Pierre de Ronsard for white flowers with pink edges. They are all tried and true good varieties.

Hi Sharon,
We seem to be on the Antique White USA tangent here but I am currently painting my laundry with this very colour. I can understand your decorating woes - we all go there at some point.

Have fun dreaming about redecorating.
Hugs,
Kerryanne

Hi Sharon, every time I like something on Gail's website it is sold already and I see that it was you buying it all!
I love your little original from her.
I am in the decorating mood too. I am so over the place we are in right now. I need a new home with new challenges!

Oh, I especially love the pretty little footstool. Take a deep breath and make a very long list. That will help you organize your thoughts :)

Hi Sharon, I love having the painting bug! It's so much fun. I love the colour you have chosen, I would love to see the end result if you go ahead with it! I am also a fan of antique white USA and most of my house is done in this.

Hi Sharron,

Oh, dont worry...we all get like that at times. We ripped the carpet out last year and repainted atthe same time...what a mess!!!

Hi Sharon, just found your blog whilst looking at Gail's. I love all your things, and the paintings are gorgeous, i've just discovered them. But i think i will become a collector, aren't they out of this world...so pretty. Anyway i've waffled on enough, just wanted to say hi and say it's all beautiful.
Thanks Cindy
